| Eudial |
Eudial was the first member of the Witches 5 to appear in the Sailor Moon S season and Infinity arc. She showed tremendous expertise in computer programming and inventing weapons. Her powers were fire-based.
Anime
Eudial made her speaking debut in episode 103 and was present for 9 episodes. In the anime, Eudial's mission, given to her over the phone by Professor Tomoe, was to locate Tokyo civilians with Pure Hearts by using her computer that selected the most Pure-Hearted candidate. To extract these Pure Hearts, Eudial constructed the Capture Gun that would shoot a projectile of energy and force the Heart Crystal out of the target.
After selecting her target, Eudial would pack a Daimon,only used as a line of defense, into her car and drive out of the Witches 5 laboratory; Eudial's car would emerge from a very silly and illogical area in Tokyo. Eudial also had the unfortunate luck of never being able capture any Pure Heart Crystal, since the Sailor Senshi were almost always near her targets at the time. At this point Eudial would panic, call out the Daimon from her car, and leave the scene.
In episode 109, Eudial discovered the civilian identities of Sailor Moon, Sailor Venus, Sailor Uranus, and Sailor Neptune.
In episode 110, after overhearing Mimete speak gossip to the other witches, Eudial modified her program for finding Pure Hearts so she could locate two of the three owners of the Talismans, Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune. Luring them into the isolated, booby-trapped Marine Cathedral, she succeeded in getting the two talismans, but ends up losing them to Sailor Pluto, who had one as well.
When the three talismans combined, Eudial and Sailor Moon raced to get the Holy Grail. In the end, however, Sailor Moon got to it first and was able to transform into Super Sailor Moon.
Defeated, Eudial escaped to her car and drove at her usual unsafe speed. As she was about to hit the brake to slow down at the corner, she found that Mimete, who left a nasty note, replaced the brake with a ton of snails. On the car radio, Mimete then broadcasted that Eudial's job was finished, and, unable to stop her car, she drove off the top cliff and into the ocean, susposedly killing her.
Attacks
Capture Gun- an attack used by Eudial to extract Pure Heart Crystals by shooting a ball of dark energy at a target's chest that would force the Pure Heart out of its body.
Fire Buster- a very powerful flamethrower used to block Sailor Moon's Moon Spiral Heart Attack;referred to as a prototype
Fire Buster II- a much more powerful version of the Firebuster flamethrower that was used (unsuccessfully) to keep Sailor Moon and the other senshi from getting to the Holy Grail. It was also able to shoot a glue-like substance as well.
Manga
In the manga, Eudial taught the Mugen Gakuen philosophy class on etiquette in her guise as Yuko Arimura. She accompanied her students to a school camp on Mount M, and coincidentally was there as the Inner Senshi were staying nearby, visiting Rei at her own training camp.
During the night, Eudial led her students in a special ritual which was intended to sacrifice their souls to her master, Pharaoh 90. Sailor Mars and Sailor Jupiter discovered her, however, and interrupted the ritual. When Eudial was hit by Sailor Mars' Mars Snake Fire attack, she transformed into her gorgon-like Daimon form, and was killed by Sailor Moon.
Eudial was briefly revived again by Kaolinite in Act 31 with the other Witches 5, and attacked Sailor Mars. She and the others were killed again by Sailor Pluto and Sailor Neptune.
She was ranked at Level 78 and known as the warrior of the flame. Although never used, her death attack according to the Materials Collection was Fire Buster.[1]
