WikiMoon respects the privacy of its users, and will only use personal information for the purpose for which it was submitted. The details of our Privacy policy are given below.

Browsing the site

If you are merely browsing the website, then no more information will be collected than is typically collected in server logs by websites in general.

Contributing to the site

Be aware that any contributions you make will be published on the site, and most likely retained indefinitely.

Anonymous contributions

Anonymous editing has been disabled, but any anonymous contributions made before that point were identified by the user's IP address (which may or may not be traceable directly to you, depending upon your service provider).

Registration and logging in

Upon registering, users are required to submit a username and a password. The username does not have to be your real name. An email address is not necessary, and if you do submit an email address, you will be given the option to hide it from other users. If you wish, you may post further information about yourself on your User page, but this is not compulsory. We strongly recommend that you do not post any personal contact details on the site.

Cookies

This site uses browser cookies to store certain settings. Thus, if you have logged in previously, the browser may remember this information and log you back in automatically when you return to the site. The cookies do not contain any personally identifiable information, but if you wish to switch them off or delete them, you may do so at any time.

Disclaimer

The details of this policy may be changed over time, but regardless of these changes, WikiMoon will not collect and store your private information without your consent. Any personal information granted to us will not be passed onto any third parties except when it is necessary to comply with the law.
