- The song "Yume Miru Dakeja Dame" was used as a background song during this episode.
- In the English dub, the character of "evil" Prince Darien rather confusingly said he had "never heard" the name Darien before. This made more sense in the original Japanese version, where Prince Endymion did not recognise the name Mamoru.
