- Mamoru displayed healing powers similar to those of Hotaru Tomoe in this episode.
- Queen Nehellenia and the Amazoness Quartet first appeared in this episode, though their identities were not revealed until episode 150.
- In the German dub, Minako teasing Usagi for knowing a lot about Mamoru's bedroom was changed to Minako telling Bunny that saltwater and freshwater fish could not be put in the same aquarium, and that once Mamoru married her, he would need to protect his fish from her. Also in the German dub, instead of the next new moon being the deadline for the Amazon Trio, it was the next crescent moon phase.
