Viz Media is a company headquartered in San Francisco, California, that specializes in the licensing and publication of manga, anime, and other Japanese entertainment content. In May 2014, they announced the acquisition of the license for the Sailor Moon anime series and Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Crystal for streaming, digital, and home release.
