Talk:Final Act - The Five Sailor Senshi Surpassed Their Previous Lives

I have to contest the second "trivia" item - there is no indication that Sailor Mars and Sailor Venus would both have had identical weapons. The two swords that Mars used were completely identical, and I'd been under the impression that she just added Venus' power to her own. And unless there is some kind of proof for what things are supposed to symbolize, please refrain from speculating. Kerochan no Miko 20:25, 19 July 2006 (MST)

As you've said, the 2 swords are identical: 1 is turned from Mars' tambourine, the other from Venus'. They're only diff. in color. And that is the proof to symbolize that. 210 20:37, 19 July 2006 (MST)
I have no idea what "proof" you're talking about. You have Mars fighting with two swords in the Final Act, and you have Venus fighting with the exact same swords in the Special Act with no explanation given. Since in the first example Mars has her tambourine and Venus's we can assume that the same thing happened in reverse in the Special Act, but all that proves is that the one had the other's tambourine. And for all we know, if they only had their own tambourine, maybe their individual weapons would have been entirely different (maybe two together makes something else, while we're entering the realm of wild speculation). There is no "demonstration of a special relationship", IMHO. Kerochan no Miko 21:54, 19 July 2006 (MST)
The 2 weapons being identical is a fact. Whether they'd have been diff. is, as you've said, speculation. Anyway, I'm tired of going thru all the details in your arguments. The latest version has, after all, already demonstrated their special relationship w/o using those words that you don't like. And I'm satisfied w/ it. Case settled. 210 22:50, 19 July 2006 (MST)
If you don't want to argue with me, stop claiming that certain details symbolize things without proof. Simple as that. Kerochan no Miko 08:42, 20 July 2006 (MST)
I'll write what I think is appropriate. It's nothing to do w/ whether I want you to argue w/ me. And concepts like symbolization are based on facts but can't be proven as per scientific experiments. It's a matter of interpretation, & subject to divergence of views (actually even scientific theories could also be subject to such things, won't go into details here). 210 17:38, 20 July 2006 (MST)
Present bare facts, let the reader draw their own conclusions. Kerochan no Miko 20:03, 20 July 2006 (MST)

^ You know, what constitutes "facts" itself is also a matter of human interpretation. Thruout our interactions so far, I've noticed that I take a more liberal position relative to yours. Yet believe it or not, I'm seen as an anal type. lol So it's a matter of relativity. Don't know what you think, but I think our interactions concerning the WikiMoon contents constitutes a constructive & positive kind of "tension" beneficial to these contents. I especially thx for your copyediting. As a non-native English user, I've learnt a lot from you (incidentally, during my copywriting days, my works were edited by a cheerful Indian, whose English was much better than us). 210 20:29, 20 July 2006 (MST)

My last edit is not "minor", I've clicked it accidentally. Sorry! 210 20:54, 19 July 2006 (MST)

I removed the last bit of trivia because the knives/swords/whatever ARE completely identical - they both have red blades with gold at the center. Kerochan no Miko 20:54, 21 July 2006 (MST)

Ok, I'll trust you for that. Could be my eye problem. lol 210 03:29, 22 July 2006 (MST)
If you thought one was red and one was gold, that could explain a lot of our disagreement on the matter. :P I went back and looked, though, and I see no color difference. Kerochan no Miko 10:23, 22 July 2006 (MST)
