Galactica Inflation was an attack used by Sailor Galaxia in the manga, musicals, and Crystal. In the manga and Crystal, this attack seemed to be of equal power to Sailor Moon's Silver Moon Crystal Power Therapy Kiss, as the two attacks canceled each other out when used simultaneously.
In the manga, it appeared to generate a field of crackling dark power around Galaxia; she would then rush her enemy, overwhelming them with negative power.
In the animated version of this attack, Sailor Galaxia performed different gestures with her hands, before finally crossing her arms in front of her chest to perform another hand gesture by joining the thumbs and index fingers in circles, while she held the other fingers away from the palms. As she did that, multiple balls of golden energy circled around her, while lightning crackled. The energy balls then moved towards Galaxia to merge into one along with the lightning, as she drew her upper body and legs closer together. Galaxia then rushed her entire body head first toward her enemy, moving the ball of energy along with her.
In the musicals, it first appeared in the Sailor Moon Sailor Stars kaiteiban, where Sailor Galaxia used it against Eternal Sailor Moon and Sailor Chibi Moon. In several of the musicals, Sailor Galaxia used her sword to perform the attack, but in others it was not required. In Starlights - Ryuusei Densetsu, this attack was also performed by Sailor Iron Mouse, Sailor Lead Crow, and Sailor Metal Papillon as a group against the Sailor Senshi; in Kakyuu-Ouhi Kourin, Sailor Aluminum Seiren was also part of the attack which, in that musical, was used against the Senshi of the Four Guardian Deities.
Trivia[edit]
- In cosmology, "inflation," or "cosmological inflation," refers to the theory that the universe is expanding and has been since the Big Bang, owing to the total vacuum that surrounds it.
