I...don't recall Zirconia being an older version of Nehellenia. In the anime she was born from Nehellenia's dreams or something like that, and in the manga she seemed fairly separate from her. I don't remember about the manga. In the anime she was Nehelennia's... well, deepest fear, her nightmare of old age and ugliness, given form through her mirror. (Cf. the aged Nehelennia in ep. 166.) She saw Zirconia in her mirror as her old self, and Zirconia disappeaed when she came out of the mirror. In the manga, she transformed into a Zirconia-like body when she was being defeated. Just before being sealed into the mirror. *read it recently* - Sailor Biccy 08:56, 1 December 2006 (MST)

I think saying that she's "the older version of Nehellenia" is far too simplistic, because there's a lot more to it than that. She was her nightmare, her mirror image, not "an older version of her" in the sense that Neo-Queen Serenity is an older version of Usagi. Kerochan no Miko 11:35, 1 December 2006 (MST)

Has anyone read the story "Queen Zixi of Ix"? It's really similar in the fact that it is about a beautiful queen who's reflection is that of a tootless bald hag, and she is obsessed with her beauty. (This unsigned comment was left by Saintfighteraqua, July 21, 2010)
