The kanji of her name is as follows:

Ri - Nashi (the fruit)
ka - Chuka Ryori (Chinese cuisine)

So someone pls help. Thx! 210 03:37, 5 August 2006 (MST)

The Chisaki-chan entry was mine. For some reason the server logged me off while I was browsing the site. --Rosen 07:51, 5 August 2006 (MST)

Her official site has blocked all foreign IPs a long time ago. But you may go here to find some of the pages from there (there're ways to get around the block). 210 18:09, 5 August 2006 (MST)
I think I'm still too sleepy in Sun. morning - now I know what you meant Rosen: you were referring to the WikiMoon server. lol That might be an auto logout due to timeout? 210 20:54, 5 August 2006 (MST)

Could someone add her other kanji name? Thx! 210 18:18, 5 August 2006 (MST)

Thx for adding it! Just to inform that the current policy for 3-kanji/kana names is to have no spacing between the given & family names. 210 18:55, 5 August 2006 (MST)

Could someone swap the kanji names (can't do it w/ my device)? Thx! 210 04:07, 6 August 2006 (MST)

^ Pls. ^^; 210 22:05, 6 August 2006 (MST)

Chisaki in cast lists

Could we just stick to the credited name rther than always having 'Rika' in brackets? In cases where actors changed their names in the middle of a series (such as Taeko Kawata) I usually just use the name listed for that episode and set up redirects if necessary. The current system looks a little ugly. dooky 21:03, 24 August 2006 (MST)

Agreed. I'll do it for the existing episode cast lists. 210 21:05, 24 August 2006 (MST)

Some of her latest bits of info

Some of Her Latest Bits of Info

  • For her fans, here's some bits about her at Mew's blog [now defunct] (yes, Mew's blog!), but I think it's too minor to be included in her article. 210 05:04, 31 August 2006 (MST)
  • Latest photo w/ the suspected hands of her can be found at Mew's another blog [now defunct]. Japanese fans speculate that they are (not w/o reasons), & even consider it as a sign of her return (now that's ridiculous). 210 22:40, 14 September 2006 (MST)
  • Another Senshi reunion. This time it's Komatsu's turn to be missing (she's extremely busy w/ her latest TV drama - 2 episodes to be done each day, morning till nite). As expected, Rika doesn't show up in the photo (she took that photo). See Kei-chan's [2006/11/26] blog entry (scroll down & click the entry title). --210 21:30, 25 November 2006 (MST)
Note that Rika's given name is rendered in katakana instead of kanji in the blog entry (Mew's given name is also rendered in hiragana instead of kanji, but this is to avoid mixing up w/ the identical given name of Sawai, who is, unlike the other 2 girls, represented there by her family name instead of her given name for the same reason). --210 04:39, 26 November 2006 (MST)
  • In the very long [2006-11-27] entry in her new blog, Mew mentions the abovementioned reunion & there's a single sentence about her hanging out w/ Rika (again) later on another day (haven't heard about Rika hanging out w/ the other girls other than Mew yet, whereas Mew has gone out w/ Sawai & slept at Keiko's Tokyo residence, not to mention Keiko & Ayaka). Mew renders Rika's given name in hiragana. --210 00:30, 29 November 2006 (MST)
Mew's yet another hanging out w/ Rika today. This time it's a bit more detailed in her [2006-11-30] entry (titled "Nakayoshi"). --210 06:57, 30 November 2006 (MST)
  • In the [2007-05-24] entry of her blog, Mew mentions that she had dinner w/ Rika, that they talk via email every day, "love love" (lol), etc. They might be the closest-among-the-Senshi pair equivalent to the Keiko-Ayaka one, hence leaving Sawai the odd one out. lol --210 19:10, 24 May 2007 (MST)
  • In the [2007-05-28] entry of her blog, Mew mentions that she went w/ Rika to MARIS, the favorite beauty salon of the Senshi actresses (especially Keiko, who's probably the one recommending it to the other girls). --210 20:52, 27 May 2007 (MST)
  • In the [2007-06-26] entry of her blog, Mew mentions that she hang out w/ Sawai & Rika (Keiko was supposed to come also but couldn't make it in the last minute; Komatsu also couldn't come [she's quite busy lately, & has returned to live at her Iwate home while working in nearby Sendai & also in Tokyo - as in her PGSM days]). --210 06:56, 26 June 2007 (MST)
  • In the [2007-11-09] entry of her blog, Mew mentions that in a full Senshi reunion, they celebrated the birthdays of Miyuu, Keiko, & Rika.
10036615995gd7.jpg
Note that in the above photo, Miyuu's name is misspelled.
--210 05:47, 9 November 2007 (MST)
  • In the [2007-11-30] entry of her blog, Mew mentions that she's having home-made hot pot w/ Rika at her (Mew's) home (just the 2 of them). These 2 Senshi actresses seems to be really close friends. --210 19:50, 30 November 2007 (MST)
  • In the [2007.12.21] entry of her blog, Komatsu mentions about a full Senshi reunion in their Yearend gathering, which doubled as a pre-celebration party for Mew's coming birthday later this month. --210 06:06, 21 December 2007 (MST)
Alas on her birthday & in the [2007-12-26] entry of her blog, Mew mentions about this Senshi reunion & her early birthday celebration in it. --210 22:29, 25 December 2007 (MST)

Discussion about this Section

Out of curiosity, why are you putting trivia notes on the talk page? Kerochan no Miko 15:47, 26 November 2006 (MST)

Refer to my 1st comment in this section - they're too trivial to be put into even a trivia section of the article page. But my last comment here is interesting in that it signals that Rika is genuinely out of the entertainment circle as her artist-friends don't even publicly mention her name in its proper normal form (& it's not meant to be a nick like "Sailor Rika" mentioned by Mew earlier in her blog), not to mention the lack of her public appearance in photos (except "her hands" lol, see the 2nd note above). So should this be mentioned in the article? I'm not sure. --210 18:17, 26 November 2006 (MST)
It seems to me like the kinds of things that would be listed on, say, a fansite or a celebrity blog or something like that. Nothing that belongs in an article or, really, on the talk page. Kerochan no Miko 18:37, 26 November 2006 (MST)
I see nthg harmful on the talk page. Some viewers of the article could be her fans. This could conveniently provide them w/ further info they could be interested in w/o putting too-trivial stuff into the article itself. --210 18:52, 26 November 2006 (MST)
Talk pages are generally meant for discussion of the article, not gossip about "what Chisaki wore last week". Kerochan no Miko 19:32, 26 November 2006 (MST)

^ It's related to the article as to her most recent whereabouts, &, of course, I won't talk about her dressing style here (actually I've no idea about it too due to the lack of her recent photos lol). --210 21:22, 26 November 2006 (MST)

My point is that it isn't related to the article, it's your own personal gossip-column tidbits about Chisaki. The "clothing" part was hyperbole. Kerochan no Miko 21:27, 26 November 2006 (MST)
Of course I know what you meant by that part, I was only joking in the 2nd part of my last comment. ^^; And yes, they're tidbits, as the section title has already suggested, & they're posted by me, but they're still related to the article as I've explained in my last comment. In a more general perspective, even info later found to be crude/unpolished, purely speculated or outright false in talk pages is essential as the deliberations in those pages contribute to the "brewing" of the current contents in article pages. As long as they're related to the article's subject, they're fine here. --210 00:10, 27 November 2006 (MST)
Yes. They're related to Chisaki, and the article is about Chisaki. And by that logic they're related to the article. However, this is a talk page about the article and not a gossip column. Also, you claim they're "fine" and "essential". According to whom, exactly? If I cared about Chisaki's latest goings-on, I'd look at a fanblog, which is where this stuff belongs, IMHO. Kerochan no Miko 15:22, 27 November 2006 (MST)
"According to whom?" Of course it's "according to" me! I stated it in my previous comments & that reflects my view, & the reasons have already been given there. Whatever labels you'd like to affix to it (gossip, papparazzi (sp), stalking, tabloid?), it's the infobase for the article - it could be adopted, refined, summarized, discarded, etc., & it also provides a convenient way for viewers, her fans or not, to know about the details or origins behind the article's info. And I didn't & don't intend to mention every tidbits I know about her here as a fanblogger would do. So "according to" me, if you like, it does no harm. --210 19:58, 27 November 2006 (MST)
I'm not saying that it harms anything. I'm saying that it's out of place here. And therefore, you could probably find a better venue to post these tidbits where people who are looking would know where to look for it. Kerochan no Miko 21:33, 27 November 2006 (MST)

^ And I'm not saying that you'd said it harmed anything. lol I just said what I thought. I think further discussion of this will just continue the repetition of arguments or further elaboration of them, if not degenerate into non-discussion. We've already made our points. Now if you don't mind I'm gonna small-font this part, since it's barely related to the actress (if you don't like your comments in small font, just cancel the tags I'm gonna insert). --210 19:15, 28 November 2006 (MST)

It's not about the actress, but it's about the article/talk page. And therefore actually is relevant on said talk page. Kerochan no Miko 11:50, 29 November 2006 (MST)
Small font doesn't mean it's irrelevant. It's just barely related to the actress. As I've said, it's ok that you prefer to resume the font size. --210 19:32, 29 November 2006 (MST)
You said, I'm gonna small-font this part, since it's barely related to the actress. That means you're small-fonting it because you think it's irrelevant. If that's not what you mean, then watch what you say. Kerochan no Miko 21:06, 29 November 2006 (MST)
If you like to substitute the word "relevant" for "related" in my sentence you quoted, then it's also ok to say I meant "barely relevant" as far as the actress is concerned, but that doesn't mean it's irrelevant/barely relevant here - just "watch" what I said in my last comment (& you may also replace "related" by "relevant" if you insist lol). --210 05:51, 30 November 2006 (MST)
"Relevant" and "related" are synonyms. 9_9 I still think your gossip bytes are completely pointless on the talk page, but you're obviously determined to justify it in your own mind, so whatever. Kerochan no Miko 12:14, 30 November 2006 (MST)

^ Yeah, I also guess these 2 words are, even tho I'm not a native English speaker. Now that we've got at least sthg to agree on, let's close this discussion ok. ^^ --210 18:27, 30 November 2006 (MST)

Parenthesis

Thx for clearing them up, Kerochan. Y'know, one of my teachers of Chinese language/literature hates those brackets. I don't know why I tend to use them in English. Maybe because it's a 2nd language I haven't mastered, or I've even been (badly) (!) influenced by progamming languages. I'll pay more attention to it & try reducing their usage. lol --210 00:08, 2 March 2007 (MST)
