Sailor Moon games are many, most of them released in the 90s. There are 33 official games that are set in the Sailor Moon universe, and three that feature Sailor Moon characters interacting with other anime characters. The video games world was in a high point in the Sailor Moon times, and that explains the large variety of systems that have Sailor Moon games. Almost all of them were never released outside of Japan with the sole exception of Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon for Super Famicom, officially translated and released in France by Bandai S. A. Several other games were translated into English by fans. All three games for the PC were produced outside of Japan by American (3D Adventure and Colorforms) and German (Horoskop & Games) companies.
