Kazuko Tadano (只野和子) was in charge of character design for the first two seasons of the Sailor Moon anime and Sailor Moon R movie, as well as an animation director for these seasons and the movie. Notable episodes featuring her animation direction are the last episodes of the first season and Sailor Moon R season. She returned as the character designer for Sailor Moon Eternal in 2021 and Sailor Moon Cosmos in 2023.
