Yumemi Yumeno was an anime-only character. She was a popular artist in Tokyo, and many people believed that owning one of her illustrations could make their romantic dreams come true. In episode 28 she had Usagi and Mamoru model for one of her illustrations.

She was initially very reclusive and hid her identity from her fans. She had very low self-esteem and did not feel that the way she looked was appropriate for someone who did the type of illustrations she did, so she drew a gorgeous fantasy woman in her place in her "self portrait." However, Usagi encouraged her to be more open about her identity and she ultimately replaced the previous "self portrait" with a more accurate one.

She was one of the Seven Great Youma, and she transformed into Binah when Zoisite removed the Green Rainbow Crystal from her body.

Yumemi was later captured by the evil Prince Endymion in episode 41, when he was re-gathering the Seven Great Youma, but was saved by Sailor Mercury.

Trivia[edit]

  • Her name in Japanese is a pun for "seeing in dreams" (夢の夢見).
