The Ambition of Silence was a living sand sculpture which appeared only in the anime episode "Art is an Explosion of Love! Chibiusa's First Love."

The Ambition of Silence began life as a small sand sculpture created by the Daimon Chokokkar during a battle against Sailor Moon, Sailor Chibi Moon, Sailor Uranus, and Sailor Neptune. Designated as "Work Number 002," the sculpture was then embellished by one of the Daimon's earrings, which caused it to grow to huge proportions. The statue took on the appearance of a vaguely humanoid creature composed of spheres, and appeared to possess a rudimentary intelligence. Chokokkar claimed that the creature was an example of "avant garde" art.

With Sailor Uranus already fighting Chokokkar's first creation, Beyond the Massacre, The Ambition of Silence chased after Sailor Neptune. However, the clumsy creature overbalanced and fell into a river, disintegrating upon contact with the water. Noticing the weakness agaisnt water, Sailor Neptune instructed Sailor Uranus to throw her opponent into the river as well. This was successful, and they correctly guessed that Chokokkar also shared her creations' weakness. Sailor Neptune then used Deep Submerge to cripple Chokokkar, allowing Sailor Moon to destroy the Daimon.

Notes[edit]

  • A continuity error could be seen during the creation of The Ambition of Silence. As the creature grew out of the sand, its legs were visible in front of Chokokkar. However, the legs shown were clearly those of Chokokkar's earlier creation, Beyond the Massacre.
