I was wondering if it would be suitable to add the name of the background music used in this sequence. I'm asking someone else adds it so my apparent bad literacy doesn't cause anymore disagreements. The name of the music is 'Vanessa Mae Salior Moon Violin Medley'. Just for those who want to know like I did. heres a link to the actual mp3 (its a really nice song after all) http://sylvain.chandon.free.fr/Mp3/Salor%20moon/Vanessa%20Mae%20-%20Sailor%20Moon%20Violin%20Medley.mp3 SailorLeo 23:45, 29 April 2007 (MST)

The thing is, the Violin Medley wasn't only used for this transformation: it was used for Sailor Neptune's too, as well as for their attacks, and occasionally for stuff involving Sailor Pluto. Also, it wasn't performed by Vanessa Mae: it's one of those enduring myths about the series. - dooky 01:29, 30 April 2007 (MST)
Well in any case I was implying we add it to all the outer senshi transformation pages but it would defeat the purpose to put it up if we don't know who actually performed the piece...SailorLeo 00:35, 1 May 2007 (MST)
I have all the BGM albums but I don't recall any Vanessa Maes (or really any English names at all) in the song titles.. I'll check my inventory again.Secretss 11:37, 1 May 2007
I'm back. The henshin BGM appears in two tracks:
1) Titled "Sailor Uranus & Neptune" in Sailor Moon Memorial Music Box, Disc 4: Bishoujo Senshi Sailormoon S.
Title: セーラーウラヌス&ネプチューン
Track Number: 10
Duration: 3:43 min
Number of Parts: 3, Henshin BGM + Outer Senshi Appear + (I can't recall what piece this part is)
2) Titled "Uranus, Soshite, Neptune" in Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon S Music Collection.
Track Number: 12
Duration: 5:41 min
Number of Parts: 4, Henshin BGM + Outer Senshi Appear + (I don't know what this is, it's different from the above part 3) + (same as above part 3)
The mp3 provided by SailorLeo has a duration of 2:07 min, 2 parts, Henshin BGM + Outer Senshi Appear.
I have no objections to crediting Vanessa Mae (if she did perform it for the anime) somewhere, but the "somewhere" has to be an appropriate page. Before I end off - her name does not appear in official track titles. --Secretss 13:11, 1 May 2007 (MST)
Vanessa Mae had absolutely nothing to do with Sailor Moon or the soundtrack thereof. As dooky said, it's a complete myth. Also, I don't see a reason to start including mp3s in articles, unless maybe it's in an article about music, and even then I'm hesitant. Kerochan no Miko 13:19, 1 May 2007 (MST)
No, we shouldn't include mp3s in articles. Copyright issues aside, it isn't necessary. The soundtracks are easy enough to find on the web if people are so inclined. dooky 14:53, 1 May 2007 (MST)
I don't think SailorLeo said anything about providing the mp3 in the article; I think she just suggested mentioning the music piece and the performer, which, as I have pointed out, is not titled "Vanessa Mae Salior Moon Violin Medley". I share the same sentiments on music files. They shouldn't even be provided on the dedicated music pages. Wikimoon is not a download site. On another note, I think providing the information on when the sequence was first seen might be an idea worth considering. --Secretss 16:20, 1 May 2007 (MST)
The information on when the sequence was first seen is already in the article. Kerochan no Miko 16:28, 1 May 2007 (MST)
Erm...wow. I was implying that it would be useful to some readers to know what the music is called because I've seen a few questions all around Sailor Moon websites asking about certain music pieces. I personally wanted to know the name of the song for the outer senshi transformations. Mind I did find two mp3's that are credited to Vanessa Mae, 'Sailor Moon S Violin Instrumental'(the one we are debating about right now) and 'Tranquility'(the star locket jingle) but that doesn't mean much does it? I guess I'll put them here, in case anyone would like to read over them. [1][2] --Sailor-minako-chan (talk) 22:35, 22 September 2018 (EDT)
