Sirius
Sirius, also known as α Canis Majoris, is a binary star located around 8.6 light years from Earth, and the brightest star in the night sky. The component stars, a blue-white dwarf and a much fainter white dwarf, together form the brightest point in the constellation Canis Major. The star system was mentioned in the anime episode "Is Usagi a Model? The Focus of the Youma Camera."
Sirius in the Anime[edit]
Sirius was the star controlling the energy of the young photographer Kijin Shinokawa. Nephrite used this knowledge to predict a peak in the boy's energy, and planned to exploit and ultimately steal his life energy with the help of the Youma Cameran, who was implanted into Shinokawa's camera.
