Resin was a genius loci who appeared in one of the "Chibiusa's Picture Diary" side stories. She dwelled near a dentist's office and drew nourishment from the cavities of people who came to the dentist, but decided there were not enough people coming in and so lured more to the office.
One of those caught in her trap was Chibiusa, who escaped from the dentist's chair with Diana's help and transformed into Sailor Chibi Moon. When Resin attacked her, the attack made her cavity throb and Sailor Chibi Moon began to cry, triggering her Supersonic Waves attack. This distracted the spirit long enough for Sailor Moon and Sailor Venus to arrive and help with the battle, and Sailor Chibi Moon destroyed Resin with Pink Sugar Heart Attack.
