- Yuuichirou Kumada and Rei's grandfather made their final appearances in this episode.
- The backdrop which appeared behind the Lemures Mizugeiko at one point was an adaption of a famous painting by the Japanese artist Katsushika Hokusai.
- When Mizugeiko was destroyed by Moon Gorgeous Meditation, the Kabuki makeup she had put on earlier was missing.
- In the first English dub, the scene where Rei accidentally saw Mamoru in the bath was cut.
