Princess Sailor Venus was the name given to Sailor Venus when she pretended to be the Moon Princess in the live-action series. The charade was intended to protect the real princess, Sailor Moon.
In Act 12, she appeared before the other Sailor Senshi as Sailor V, then removed her red mask and transformed into Princess Sailor Venus, at which point Artemis presented her as the heir to the Silver Millennium and the Silver Crystal. In this guise she appeared with her chain around her waist, a crescent moon on her forehead, and a tiara on her head. Though the tiara appeared to have the Silver Crystal set in it, in Act 20 Princess Sailor Venus showed that she had a number of identical fake tiaras.
In Act 25, when Sailor Moon awoke as Princess Serenity, the crescent moon on Sailor Venus' forehead disappeared and was replaced by her usual tiara. After that point, she returned to her duties as the leader of the Senshi.
Trivia[edit]
- Though she was never referred to by this title, in the manga Sailor Venus also pretended to be the Princess at first in order to protect Sailor Moon. Just as in the live-action series, there she also had a crescent moon on her forehead which disappeared when Sailor Moon awoke as the Princess.
- In Act 17, when Minako transformed into this form using Venus Power, Make Up, the stock footage still showed her transforming into the regular Sailor Venus.
