Motoki Furuhata ran the Game Center Crown. In the anime and manga, he had blond hair and blue eyes, and was hardly ever seen without his work uniform on. Usagi thought he was Tuxedo Mask for most of the first season of the anime, and had a crush on him. In the anime, manga, and Crystal, Makoto also developed a brief crush on him, as did Minako in Codename: Sailor V, and even Ami showed some feelings for him in the manga. He was friends with Mamoru Chiba in the anime and Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon.
In the anime, he and Mamoru attended K.O. University. In the manga, he attended K University while Mamoru was in high school, and was aware of the identities of the Inner Senshi after "Endou" (evil Mamoru) destroyed the part of Game Center Crown which contained the Senshi's secret base.

Motoki in PGSM |
In the live-action series, Motoki worked in the Karaoke Crown and his only family shown was his pet turtle. He was a nice, very goofy guy, who was obsessed with not only his own pet turtle, but all turtles in general. He was frequently used as a comic relief role, similar to the one Umino had in the anime and manga.
He was a friend of both Mamoru and Hina, and was shown to provide emotional support for Mamoru when needed. He fancied Makoto Kino, who later was forced to transform in front of him; in the Special Act they were dating, and at the end of the Act Makoto accepted his proposal.
Trivia[edit]
- In episode 29 of the anime, Motoki admitted that his favorite food was hayashi rice.
- In the manga Motoki found out about the Secret Base hidden under the Game Center Crown and the girls' identities as Sailor Senshi, but in Sailor Moon Crystal he never did.
- In the first English dub, Motoki did not receive a surname, but in Mixx's Sailor Moon novelizations, he was given the surname Foreman[1] and given the name Andy Kadison in the Sailor Moon Fan Books. In the Sailor Moon Collectible Card Game, he retained his Japanese surname and was called Andrew Furuhata.
- According to the Materials Collection, Motoki was studying literature.
