Mikan Shiratori was a former student at Juuban Municipal Junior High School who achieved fame as an idol. She was attacked and incapacitated by the Youma Derella, who assumed her identity in order to assist Jadeite with the Cinderella Caravan.
In the second season, Mikan was attacked by An, who drained her of energy on the set of a television drama she was to appear in. The drama was abandoned after the incident.
