Ail and An target a TV company who have invited Ami, Rei, Makoto, Minako and Naru for auditions. Luna and Artemis are forced to consider restoring the memories of the rest of the Sailor Team.

Summary[edit]

As Mamoru is standing alone on a sidewalk, Usagi suddenly appears, and clings onto his arm, not knowing that Mamoru's memory hasn't been recovered yet. When Usagi realizes this, she continues to cling, as Natsumi Ginga notices Mamoru from across the street and requests that Usagi makes sure he stays there. Mamoru exclaims that he will be late for work, and runs off. A disappointed Natsumi scolds Usagi for letting Mamoru get away, and discovers that since Usagi and Mamoru aren't dating, she may have a chance with him.

At Usagi's home, Luna and Artemis discuss how they are going to prevent the upcoming danger, as Usagi walks into her room, worried about Mamoru. Luna tells Usagi about restoring the memories of Ami, Rei, Minako and Makoto, but Usagi insists that she can protect the Earth on her own, but Luna and Artemis still don't have faith in her.

At the Makaiju, Ail and An discuss the limited energy they have left, and how they plan to steal it. An picks out another Cardian, and Cardian Minotauron is summoned.

At TV Ashita, directors review a list of girls, which are, on screen, four of the Sailor Senshi plus Naru, and pick out who would be best for their project. Ail and An appear, and as the lights in the studio go on, An apologizes for entering the studio, and makes all of the directors faint.

Later on at school, Naru tells Usagi she will be in an audition for a family drama, and is worried that this event may be similar to the dangers she has faced before. Usagi assures Naru that she will go with her to the audition to protect her, but when they arrive at the TV station, Usagi is not allowed to enter the auditioning room. As she waits outside, she sees Ami, Rei, Minako and Makoto enter the auditioning room.

Inside the room, the five girls are seated in front of a director. Ami stands up to excuse herself from the audition, because she doesn't have the time to act in the drama. The director slides a panel away to make view for the beautiful stage set, which looks similar to the ruins of Silver Millennium. At the top of the set, Ail and An appear, and as Ami turns to leave, Ail plays his flute, summoning the Cardian Minotauron, and instructs her to steal the energy of the girls. An and Ail argue above about stealing the energy of the girls, but An doesn't have the patience and leaves. She leaves the room as Natsumi, and sees Usagi and Luna trying to leave the station. They both spot Mamoru carrying a number of boxes and papers, and discover that Mamoru works for the TV station. Natsumi and Usagi chase after Mamoru, but when Natsumi realizes she is losing energy, she walks into a waiting room and steals the energy of Mikan Shiratori in order to continue her search.

The Minotauron is still chasing after the girls in the auditioning room, but Rei and Makoto decide to fight the monster. Rei throws an ofuda at the monster, and Makoto throws it into the stage set. The Minotauron soon escapes and begins to steal Naru's energy. In an attempt to stop the Minotauron, Luna scratches her face. Usagi enters the audition room, thinking the audition is over, and turns into Sailor Moon at Luna's request. Sailor Moon distracts the Minotauron, and attempts to heal her, but realizes she does not have the Moon Stick, as it was lost, and the Minotauron captures Sailor Moon in her horns. Luna runs over to the four Sailor Senshi, and recovers their memory, and they immediately transform into Sailor Mercury, Sailor Mars, Sailor Jupiter and Sailor Venus. In order to save Sailor Moon from the Minotauron, Sailor Mercury uses Sabão Spray and Sailor Jupiter uses Supreme Thunder, and to destroy the Cardian, Sailor Mars uses Fire Soul and Sailor Venus uses Crescent Beam. The Cardian turns back into a card and disappears from the face of the card. An and Ail disappear and the Sailor Senshi finally reunite.

At the Hikawa Shrine, the five Sailor Senshi agree to protect the Earth once again, and tease Usagi for thinking she could protect it by herself.

Episode trivia[edit]

  • This episode marked the beginning of the rivalry between Usagi and Natsumi over Mamoru, who had yet to regain his memories of the Dark Kingdom battle and his past life.
  • In the German dub, Natsumi called Bunny "Usagi" instead of her dub name.
