Episode trivia[edit]
- This episode featured the first use of Charm Buster.
- When U-Tahime first grabbed Jinta Araki, her fingernails were not colored, but when she took his Pure Heart Crystal, she had black fingernails.
- Sailor Moon's choker had a crescent moon instead of a heart in a single frame while she was performing Moon Tiara Action.
- The song Mimete was singing at the beginning of the episode was "I am Sailor Moon."
- This was the first time Minako Aino entered an idol audition. The second time was in episode 192.
- According to this episode, Minako did not like shiitake mushrooms.
- In the first English dub of this episode, Venus Love-Me Chain was called "Venus Love Chain Whip" instead of the usual "Venus Love Chain Encircle," and Moon Tiara Action was called by its original name instead of the usual "Moon Tiara Magic." Also in that dub, Mina claimed to be covering Artemis's mouth because he had laryngitis and was not supposed to be talking. In the original version of the episode, she simply said that he talked too much.
