Crane Game Joe was an anime-only character. He was the mysterious master of crane games, and someone with whom Makoto Kino became briefly enamoured. It turned out that the reason he was so good at crane games was because he had limited telekinetic abilities, possibly a side effect of him being the carrier of the Red Rainbow Crystal and the reincarnation of Gesen, one of the Seven Great Youma. He took on the form of Gesen when Zoisite removed his Crystal, but was healed by Sailor Moon.
