- This was the only episode of Sailor Moon S in which no enemies appeared.
- This episode featured the last appearances of Haruka, Michiru, Setsuna, and Hotaru until their return in episode 167.
- When the doctor was looking at Professor Tomoe's medical chart, the writing on it was a mixture of Japanese and German, including such information as "Kopfschmerzen" (headache), "Gedächtnis" (memory), "Sprache Hinderniss [sic]" (speech impediment), "Harnuntersuchung" (urinalysis), "Tropfen" (drops), "Knochenbruch" (fracture), and "Guten Appetit haben" (having a good appetite).
- This was Marisa Marco's final episode voicing Sailor Pluto in the Spanish dub.
- This was the last time Rei transformed on-screen with Mars Star Power, Make Up.
