I have to admit, you got a laugh out of me when I saw Otome no Policy there.--WikiSysop 01:32, 5 June 2006 (MST)

Perhaps we want to set some rules about when it is appropriate to add external links.--WikiSysop 13:51, 17 September 2006 (MST)

I really feel like WikiMoon:A guide to common character names should be listed here. @_@--Sakky 20:58, 16 November 2006 (MST)

Ditto. --210 21:04, 16 November 2006 (MST)
Hmm. It definitely needs to be featured more prominently, but I'm not sure it fits on this page. I'll have to look into that. Kerochan no Miko 21:22, 16 November 2006 (MST)

Is there any sort of policy on romanization? I notice that some pages use the Hepburn system, while others are using others-- some pages even have a blend. The ones that stand out the most for me are the pages that use 'ti' instead of 'chi' for many words. I can't remember the particular name of the system where that's used, but it's fairly uncommon, so I was wondering about policy regarding romanization of the Japanese and/or translation of the same.--Azurite 09:31, 18 January 2007 (MST)

No, nothing official. From what I've seen, we generally just have established spellings for common words/character names and use translated versions of most other words. Kerochan no Miko 11:53, 18 January 2007 (MST)
We tend to use whatever romaji officially used. If that's unavailable, we use the ones already commonly used (we may even google to determine this). There used to be edit wars here concerning the romanization of myu actors' names, & Dooky, an admin here, hence established a guideline somewhere in the talk pages. --210 21:31, 18 January 2007 (MST)
Perhaps it would be a good idea to have that guideline replicated here somewhere, or at least someplace more visible?--Azurite 10:56, 19 January 2007 (MST)
Agreed. But I've forgotten its whereabout. ^^; --210 18:10, 19 January 2007 (MST)

The rules about external links &c really need to be spelled out somewhere... Kerochan no Miko 11:03, 7 March 2007 (MST)

How about adding a new page link for it under the "General policies" section of the project page? --210 18:15, 7 March 2007 (MST)
