Lyrics

Japanese

Chainon

Chainon

Yeh yeh yeh yeh!
moon fragment

Chainon

English Translation

Upon some withered flower petals, the wing of twilight
They float by in a chilly manner, Viridian wind is mysterious
The life of that day, I can't touch any more,
The spiral engraves it, let spin let weave as it is
Amour, play like a poet
Now, embrace the abyss of darkness
And the empty shell

I will never forget the lies of lament, that tale is aurore
The time of evening glow is no longer
The fossil I scooped up, moon fragment
The pure scar isn't healed, that tale is lumière
Don't let me go, my endless lover,
I live my life, Chainon

Upon fragile tiptoe, cold lightning
It pierces the deep darkness, Indigo wave is mysterious
Holding the hand trembling like mirage,
It doesn't stop like a pendulum, I'm swept as it is

Amour, repeat like a movie
I embrace you
Burned on my mind forever

I will never forget the lies of beauty, that tale is aurore
The time of evening calm is no longer
The sand grain I scooped up, moon fragment
Torment and the scar isn't healed, that tale is lumière
I won't let you go, my endless lover
Tear-colored Chainon

I will never forget the lies of lament,
That tale is aurore
That brilliance is a piece of the moon
Yeh yeh yeh yeh!
Moon fragment

Torment, and the scar isn't healed, that tale is lumière
I won't let you go, my endless lover
The color of moon is Chainon

Trivia

  • The kanji 月色 together normally are read "gesshoku," which means "moonlight," while separately "tsuki" (月) and "iro" (色) mean "moon" and "color." This has led to many referring to this song as "Moon Color Chainon."
  • "Chaînon" is the French word for the link of a chain.
