Someone who knows the manga needs to have a go at this... I know the manga section's currently crap. I haven't seen Stars in a bit so some of those events might not be in quite the right order. Dooky 12:42, 23 May 2006 (MST)

Is there a cite for the source for the information in the "Era of Serenity" section, or is that fan speculation? Kerochan no Miko 12:29, 8 June 2006 (MST)

Pure fan-speculation, incorporating the Prallel Sailor Moon community (which I've no problem with per se, but it has no place in a section about Hotaru in the anime) and a whiff of baseless POV-pushing (Doesn't care for Usagi? really?) I'll remove it. Dooky 13:20, 8 June 2006 (MST)

(1) Black is 1 of her primary color? Can't see the color in her fuku tho. I thought it's Pluto's? (Having watched the final Star episode almost a decade ago, my memory is unreliable tho.) 210 21:30, 3 August 2006 (MST)

(2) Anyone thinks that her age in Stars (when she can transform into a Senshi) looks younger than that in S? Or was I seeing things? 210 22:21, 3 August 2006 (MST)

No, you were not... but then her age variations in Stars were not exactly subtle. ^_~ --Rosen 13:52, 4 August 2006 (MST)
Thx for your graphical clarification on this (& I love the pic of the 2 Saturns posing together too!). BTW, is ".se" standing for Sweden? 210 19:21, 4 August 2006 (MST)
Yes, it's a country code, like ".fr" for France or ".de" for Germany. --Rosen 07:36, 5 August 2006 (MST)

A Parallel Hotaru?

I hope that nobody minds, but I've added a new note on Hotaru being in the Parallel Sailor Moon manga. I tried to keep it as accurate as possible, so I hope that everyone likes it. She's a very popular character, so It's not uncommon for me to get criticism for something I said about her. I hope I don't anger anyone. O_O

Also, the pic of Hotaru and Chibiusa comes from the webmistress of Moon Sisters, the unoficial site to the heirs to the throne. A big thanks goes out to her for the images, and for the link to WikiMoon that she has put up on her site.

And in case you're wondering, the pic is a legitamate scan from the Parallel Sailor Moon manga story, so it was drawn by Naoko Takeuchi.

See the note on the Chibi Moon talk page. I appreciate you have permission, but we can't bend the rules. Consider getting an imageshack account. dooky 07:34, 20 July 2006 (MST)

I just wanted to apologize again, for any wrongdoing I may have done with the pictures!!!

Costume

It is notable that both the costumes of Sailor Saturn's original/Super form and Sailor Moon's original form adopt a similar color scheme, with the former being purple and deep red in the costume parts where the latter is blue and red respectively. - Um, I don't get it. All the senshi have a similar color scheme, is it notable that Sailor Jupiter's costume is similar to Sailor Moon's except it's green and pink? Kerochan no Miko 05:34, 4 August 2006 (MST)

Okay, 210, I see that you added the word "same" in there, and I can see that. But I don't see why it's notable - are we going to note on Sailor Mars' and Sailor Venus' pages that they both have back bows that are different colors from their front bows? It's true, but that doesn't mean it's significant. Kerochan no Miko 06:02, 4 August 2006 (MST)
The reason why it's particularly notable among other also similarly costumed Senshi is that both purple/blue & deep-red/red represent relatively adjacent or close colors in the color spectrum. 210 06:12, 4 August 2006 (MST)
...and? Just because blue and purple are similar on the color spectrum, but that doesn't mean there's something significant in the fact that Sailor Moon has a blue collar and Saturn has a purple collar. Kerochan no Miko 06:41, 4 August 2006 (MST)
So it's notable that they look similar in this respect, & that's all. 210 06:56, 4 August 2006 (MST)
And my question is, how is it notable? Kerochan no Miko 06:58, 4 August 2006 (MST)
I'm with KnM on this. When you have ten senshi, all with different colour schemes, these similarities are going to appear by pure chance. I highly doubt there's any method or significance to it. dooky 07:00, 4 August 2006 (MST)

^ Of course it could be by pure chance, but the similarity is still notable. 210 07:06, 4 August 2006 (MST)

Similarity, yes. Significant, no. Kerochan no Miko 07:31, 4 August 2006 (MST)
Since the very beginning I've been always meaning that it's notable that there's a similarity, & nothing more. ^_~ Incidentally, I've noticed that when I saw some badly painted Taiwanese pirate garage figures of Saturn yrs ago - the color scheme was almost identical to Moon's. lol 210 19:36, 4 August 2006 (MST)
Yes, but "notable" implies that it's significant somehow or symbolic of something, as in, "there's something important being said here because they're similar." And I'm saying there isn't. Yes, they're the same color scheme WRT which costume part is which of the two main colors. But it's not notable. Kerochan no Miko 19:41, 4 August 2006 (MST)
So the arguments all stem from my lacking in English. lol So Kerochan sensei, is "noticeable" a better word in this context? 210 20:38, 4 August 2006 (MST)
Agreed. It's an observation, but it isn't encyclopaedic. dooky 20:32, 4 August 2006 (MST)

Hotaru's ages

While I agree this is worth talking about, the current approach isn't ideal. You could convincingly argue that Hotaru isn't the only character to have been shown at many different ages: Chibiusa has been shown as a toddler (flashbacks in R), young child (R), older child (when she returned in S she was taller) and teenager/adult (via Wiseman or PallaPalla's magic). The more interesting thing is the phenomenon of rapid ageing, rather than the ages themselves. dooky 20:32, 4 August 2006 (MST)

Kerochan has done it already. Thx to her. ^^ 210 21:01, 4 August 2006 (MST)

Slience Glaive Suprise

"Silence Glaive Surprise - An attack used against Queen Nehellenia whilst trapped in her mirror world. The full power of this attack was not known, as Sailor Chibi Moon prevented Sailor Saturn from completing it, but it would most likely have resulted in Saturn's death."

Actually, according to Ian [1] that wasn't Slience Glaive Suprise, that was her bringing down the Slience Glaive - Silence Glaive Surprise was responsible for the purple ball of light and cracks in the floor but NOT the explosion, which is the result of her bringing down the Glaive. GracieLizzie 10:09, 2 September 2006 (MST)

Yeah, I've read that, but it feels a bit like a lot of supposition. As far as I'm aware, the anime never explicitly linked bringing down the Glaive with Saturn's death/the end of the world. I'll have to look at that episode again, I think... dooky 10:30, 2 September 2006 (MST)
Personally I think that saying Slience Glaive Suprise was responsible for the explosion is more supposition when you look at the evidence presented by the manga. Also Ian points out here that a lot of the anime guides say that it is her Glaive that is responsible for ending the world. ::shrugs:: GracieLizzie 10:38, 2 September 2006 (MST)

Anime Pic

Someone pls replace &/or move the pic in the anime section. Thx! 210 06:36, 8 September 2006 (MST)

Role in the Silver Millennium

There should be detailed information about her part in the destruction of the SM on here, right?? There are things I am not clear on though. I know that after QS sent everyone to the future on Earth, the three outers' talismens activated and Saturn was revivied. Then she dropped her glaive and... and what? And the Moon Kingdom ended. Okay... but was it just turned to dust so that's how it looks to us now? What about the Earth? She didn't do anything to it, right??--Sakky 17:43, 10 October 2006 (MST)

Myu Image

I know it's originally there, but that "ghost" behind her makes the image look like a minor imaging error (if not a genuine yurei photo lol) here - could someone edit it out? --210 23:12, 22 April 2007 (MST)

I don't see a problem with it, personally. Kerochan no Miko 04:28, 23 April 2007 (MST)
It's just a minor problem, but if someone could fix it, it'd be better still, hence my request. --210 05:34, 23 April 2007 (MST)
And I don't think it's a problem and don't see why anyone should have to edit it out, hence my objection. Kerochan no Miko 05:39, 23 April 2007 (MST)
Well, I certainly see it as one, tho a minor one & I won't be freaked by that "ghost" if it continues to exist. lol --210 05:50, 23 April 2007 (MST)

Sailor Satan?

In some translations her Senshi identity was mistakenly translated as "Sailor Satan". Which translations are these? Cite? Kerochan no Miko 13:27, 9 June 2007 (MST)

For example Polish translation by Rafał Rzepka (however, term "Sailor Satan" figures only in two volumes of the manga and is later changed to "Sailor Saturn" or Polish "Czarodziejka z Saturna"). Kayla
Since that's the only instance I've heard of this particular mistranslation, I changed the trivia note accordingly. Kerochan no Miko 03:41, 11 June 2007 (MST)

Manga costume

I added a manga costume section. Would someone mind checking this for the details as I don't have the real life manga and I wrote this mostly from pictures from the Internet and the Inner Senshi info on this subject.Pinkfox 03:29, 13 June 2007 (MST)

Trivia

The trivia section states:

"Sailor Saturn was the only Sailor Senshi with no transformation sequence shown in the anime."

What of Galaxia, The Aminmamates and Chibi Chibi Moon? Davi Williams 20:35, 18 June 2007 (MST)

Fixed. Kerochan no Miko 20:55, 18 June 2007 (MST)
