Didn't she come from the sun or something like that?--WikiSysop 00:39, 14 June 2006 (MST)

Possibly in the manga. In the anime her origin wasn't really explained, although there may have been some connection, since as she gained power there was an increase in sunspot activity. Dooky 00:41, 14 June 2006 (MST)
I'm almost positive in the manga it said she came from the sun, yeah.--WikiSysop 01:27, 14 June 2006 (MST)

Metalia Endymion? *snickers* Sorry that just sounds so funny. Is that really what they call him? XD --Sakky 17:10, 20 September 2006 (MST)

I got that off the PGSM cast listing, but I don't know why anyone would be surprised when anything from the live-action series is silly. I mean, just look at it... Kerochan no Miko 17:16, 20 September 2006 (MST)
Actually I don't think he's got a name in the series. Anyone got a better name? BTW, PGSM may stand for "Parental Guidance Silly Moon". 210 18:22, 20 September 2006 (MST)
The only other thing I could think to call him is Dark Endymion or maybe Evil Endymion, but neither of those sound much like official names.--Sakky 19:16, 20 September 2006 (MST)
Or "Evilmion" (as per "Darkury"). lol Yeah, there's no official name. 210 02:56, 21 September 2006 (MST)

Metalia's glowing red pillar tower...thing first appeared in Act 19 of PGSM, but was mentioned before that. Since the actualy whatsis appeared in 19, that's what I went with for first appearance, since, y'know, that's about as much of an appearance that Metalia has. Kerochan no Miko 20:36, 1 October 2006 (MST)

I think they should at least get Sawai to play Metalia instead of just voicing the Metalia Youma (or even better, to dress like what she did in her idol photobooks while doing so :P). --210 22:06, 1 October 2006 (MST)

[Edit note forgotten to enter before saving] The original info is correct - it's from the official Toei site. --210 21:09, 6 March 2007 (MST)

Sorry, but why is there no anime section? Animenokyouran 00:26, 20 February 2008 (MST)

Because no one has added info into that section yet - maybe you could? ^^ --210 05:27, 20 February 2008 (MST)
There is an anime section, there's just no information in it yet. And since the point of a wiki is to contribute information, you're completely welcome to put some in there rather than just complaining about a lack thereof. Kerochan no Miko 08:11, 20 February 2008 (MST)

I think Manga Section should be put before Anime Section. Anyway, I'm trying to add some content to Anime Section. (This unsigned comment was left by Lixiaofossil, April 1, 2010)

I reviewed the First Season, but didn't find any detailed information about Queen Metalia's origin. Luna, Artemis, even Endymion just say "Prople on earth had been controlled by an evil energy called Metalia". So I suggest change Queen Metalia's origin in "Anime" sector to "not clearly explained".

Name

Ok, Naoko Takeuchi insisted that her preffered spelling was 'Metaria' not 'Metallia' or 'Metalia'. I have no problem with the spelling used on this wiki (although i am partial to the spelling Metaria) but we atleast need to have a directory so that when one types in 'Queen Metallia' or 'Queen Metaria' it directs them to "Queen Metalia". Thank you. Sailor-Star-Lover 15:50, 12 August 2010 (MST)

Do you have a source for this supposed preference? --Kerochan no Miko 17:30, 12 August 2010 (MST)

Pic

I love the picture of her from the manga, but if someone could upload the picture in the following link to the anime section that would be great.

Okay, so I could be wrong, but is this supposed to be Metalia in the anime? WaterKnight 13:14, 21 December 2010 (MST)

(Changed image to a link since it was kind of huge.) I think they kind of implied that the big smudgey monster was supposed to be Metalia but I don't remember anything specifically said about it. Kerochan no Miko 13:36, 21 December 2010 (MST)
I think I remember Beryl calling out "Metalia" to it.. I thought the page could use an anime image. The only other one I could think of was that creepy flesh thing that Beryl talked to a lot. What the heck is it supposed to be? WaterKnight 13:50, 21 December 2010 (MST)
Do you have a better quality image? That one looks kind of like a VHS screencap and I'd rather not use it in the article...
I always got the impression that the blobby thing Beryl was talking to was the semi-sealed (or at least wounded) form of Metalia -- like something that was holding her. IIRC when she was powerful enough she broke free of it and looked like the smudgey monster for a second before possessing Beryl. Kerochan no Miko 13:58, 21 December 2010 (MST)
