Question... who voiced Super Beryl (the Metalia'd-up Beryl from Episode 46)? Was it Han or Uemura (or possibly even some combination of the two)? I can't currently play my Classic DVDs to compare the voices. I have it down as being Han on my site but I can't remember how I reached that conclusion... Dooky 23:46, 24 June 2006 (MST)

If I am correct (and im sure i am) it was Keiko Han with no voice alterations. I remember that it was the same in the english dub, just Naz Edwards, no Maria Vacratiz (or whatever her name was)and i remember this because it confused so many people, anyway bottom line is that it was Keiko Han, and I know because Ive watched the last two episodes of season one several times recently Sailor-Star-Lover 14:52, 12 August 2010 (MST)

Did anyone ever see the omake on the classic season LD where Mitsuishi Kotono goes to one of the shitenno seiyuu's houses for a BBQ with all four of them? All of them say, "Kuin Beriru," in a row to see who can pronounce it the best. It's thoroughly amusing and has nothing to do with anything yet I post about it here anyway.--WikiSysop 03:20, 28 July 2006 (MST)

I don't recall it saying in the manga that Beryl was an explorer in her reborn life and found Queen Metalia while on a trek to D-Point. Should this really be stated on the page with no proof?--Chains of Fate 20:21, 12 February 2008 (MST)

I don't know that she was an "explorer" as such, but according to Act 7 she stumbled upon the ruins of the Dark Kingdom in the Arctic Circle "as though they called to her" and unsealed Metalia there. Not sure what she would have been doing in the Arctic Circle if she wasn't an explorer, but. Kerochan no Miko 21:18, 12 February 2008 (MST)
If Metalia called her to D-Point she wouldn't have necessarily needed to be an explorer. Most people would require more than a voice calling them to go probably halfway around the world to the coldest point on Earth, but still, there's no evidence that she was an explorer. For all we know she was born somewhere near the D-Point or leading some kind of scientific expedition. --Chains of Fate 17:53, 13 February 2008 (MST)
As I already changed the paragraph to remove the statement saying that Beryl was an explorer, I'm not sure why you're still arguing this. Kerochan no Miko 19:58, 13 February 2008 (MST)

"Sage" Beryl?

I heard a rumor that before being corrupted by Chaos, Beryl was known as "Sage Beryl". A lot of unfounded rumors circulate about Sailor Moon, but this one sounds... not ludicrous enough to be true. I didn't want to just add that without getting confirmation that it's true, though. It doesn't really bother me if it's not in the article since I totally don't have any proof at all, but I wanted to bring it to your attention. danny{SL} 04:03, 18 July 2009 (MST)

I've never heard that one before, and a google search gives me...well, a couple of fanfics and people referring to "the sage, Beryl" which isn't the same thing. I also don't see any references in the manga or the Materials Collection or any of my other usual sources. Unless someone can find a canon reference I'm going to say it's fanon.
