Question... who voiced Super Beryl (the Metalia'd-up Beryl from Episode 46)? Was it Han or Uemura (or possibly even some combination of the two)? I can't currently play my Classic DVDs to compare the voices. I have it down as being Han on my site but I can't remember how I reached that conclusion... :If I am correct (and im sure i am) it was Keiko Han with no voice alterations. Did anyone ever see the omake on the classic season LD where Mitsuishi Kotono goes to one of the shitenno seiyuu's houses for a BBQ with all four of them? All of them say, "Kuin Beriru," in a row to see who can pronounce it the best. :I don't know that she was an "explorer" as such, but according to Act 7 she stumbled upon the ruins of the Dark Kingdom in the Arctic Circle "as though they called to her" and unsealed Metalia there. ::If Metalia called her to D-Point she wouldn't have necessarily needed to be an explorer. Most people would require more than a voice calling them to go probably halfway around the world to the coldest point on Earth, but still, there's no evidence that she was an explorer. I heard a rumor that before being corrupted by Chaos, Beryl was known as "Sage Beryl".  A lot of unfounded rumors circulate about Sailor Moon, but this one sounds... not ludicrous enough to be true. Where does it say that Queen Beryl attacked Serenity and Endymion stepped in front of her and took the blow instead? From that image you presented, it's entirely possible Metaria killed him, for instance.

Alex Glover's translation has Minako saying "What she did then... to the princess and Prince Endymion!" Did she kill them? Did she cause the events that killed them? It's not that specific. In act 10 of the Sailor Moon manga, pg 173, Queen Beryl opens the door to Queen Metaria by speaking a symbol-based language. It almost looks like Hebrew or Arabic? Could someone check this out? :It does appear to be Hebrew characters. I know nothing about the language, but I managed to transcribe it: חורו חםורחו אחר. Now, Naoko is already bad with english, let's not even get started on Hebrew. Google Translate can't identify the middle word, so it's either a mispelling or I got the wrong character.
