Regarding that edit earlier today - yes, I realize that "Shuusuke" is a deadname and in another setting I would just delete it. However, all of the old musicals credited her under that name, so if we pretend that it doesn't exist, that just gets really confusing. If there's a better way to handle this, please feel free to make a suggestion here, but there has to be a way to let people know the reason for the different names. It seems that Shuusuke Yoda has changed her name to Karen Yoda after transitioning to female - the usual policy for name changes, as I recall, is to keep the article title the name the actor was credited as for their part in the series (for example, the English dub actors who use multiple names), but this is not the usual situation. Should we keep the article as it is, since at the time of the musicals she was known as "Shuusuke" and that's what the myu credits say, or should we move it to "Karen Yoda"? After further consideration, I'm just going to propose that the article be moved to Karen Yoda. Kerochan no Miko (talk) 17:41, 24 February 2016 (MST)

How is this going to affect the myu cast lists in the articles (because I'm not sure these should be just changed to say "Karen Yoda" instead of "Shuusuke Yoda", as the myu credits use her old name)? Leave them as they are and let the redirect work? Or put it as something like "Karen Yoda (credited as Shuusuke Yoda)", which might not look good on the page? --YnK (talk) 07:50, 25 February 2016 (MST)
That's a good question - the credits do say "Shuusuke Yoda". I'm inclined to go with either option a) change the links to [[Karen Yoda|Shuusuke Yoda]] so the link still goes to the right place but it's an accurate representation of the credits or option b) change the credits to say "Karen Yoda" and let people figure it out when they get to the article and see there was a name change involved. I want to make it not confusing, but I also want to be respectful of her transition, so I'm not really sure which is the better option. Kerochan no Miko (talk) 17:29, 25 February 2016 (MST)
Would "Karen Yoda (Shuusuke Yoda)" still look too messy? --210 (talk) 08:36, 26 February 2016 (MST)
My vote is yes. Kerochan no Miko (talk) 19:27, 26 February 2016 (MST)

No problem w/ that. --210 (talk) 08:18, 29 February 2016 (MST)
