It is rumoured to be so because of sniper attacks that were taking place at the time in America during the initial run of Sailor Moon SuperS.
Source? I've Googled and I can find nothing. Also, I do recall some sniper attacks in the US but I'm certain they took place the following year. Dooky 08:42, 26 June 2006 (MST)
