Powers
Transformations
- Pluto Planet Power, Make Up - Uses her lip rod to transform into Sailor Pluto.
Attacks
- Dead Scream - Sailor Pluto sends a purple sphere that attacks her opponents.
Other Powers
- Time Stop - Sailor Pluto's forbidden power used to stop time. By the third taboo of guarding the Space-Time Door, the usage of this ability will result in Sailor Pluto's death.
Costume
- Sailor Pluto's (R, S, SuperS, Stars) dominant colour was black (choker, collar, elbow fittings of gloves, skirt, boots), and her accent colours were garnet (tiara gem, earrings, gem attached to choker) and dark maroon (bows - note that the bows were a much darker shade of brownish purple than her garnet accents and Saturn's bows). Her earrings were shaped like a thick downward-pointed arrow. Her collar did not have any stripes. Her choker had a garnet gem dangling from it. She did not have any shoulder pads. Her boots were similar to Moon's and Mercury's, in black with white borders.
- After the "Super" upgrade (Stars), her earrings remained the same, her choker had a yellow star attached to it, her collar had one white stripe, and the center of her front bow was a garnet heart. She had shoulder pads with translucent parts, and the back waist bow was enlarged and lengthened.
Manga
Powers
Transformations
- Pluto Planet Power, Make Up - Uses this phrase to transform into Sailor Pluto.
- Pluto Crystal Power, Make Up - Uses the Pluto Crystal to transform into Sailor Pluto. (This tranformation phrase was used only in the manga, though a similar transformation brought about by Hotaru's power happened in the Sailor Moon Sailor Stars anime.)
Attacks
- Dead Scream - Sailor Pluto used the Garnet Rod to send an energy blast at the enemy.
- Time Stop - Sailor Pluto's forbidden power used to stop time. Since stopping time is forbidden by the third taboo of guarding the Space-Time Door, using this power will result in Sailor Pluto destroying herself.
- Chronos Typhoon - This power appears in both the manga and numerous video games. Sailor Pluto holds up her Garnet Rod and sends forth a cyclone of wind at her foe.
- Garnet Ball - Sailor Pluto creates a shield using the Garnet Orb.
- Dark Dome Close - Sailor Pluto closes the Space-Time Door from a distance, using the Garnet Rod.
Costume
- Her first two forms were identical to the anime versions.
- Her final "eternal" form in the manga was, apart from the colors, similar to those of the other Senshi; her skirts were black and light grey, her sleeves were light grey, her back bow was black, and her front bow was garnet.
Musicals
In the musicals, Sailor Pluto was played by Miwa Hosoki, Rei Saitou, Yuki Kamiya, Seiko Nakazawa, Teruyo Watanabe, Yuuko Hosaka, Yukiko Nakae and Miho Yokoi.
Costume
In the musicals, Sailor Pluto's costume is significantly different from the anime and manga versions. The collar and top layer of her skirt are a dark shade of blue, and the underskirt is purple. Both layers of her skirt have silver trim, different from all the other Sailor Senshi (except for Saturn), although earlier versions have gold trim . Her bows, front and back, are black, as are her boots and tops of gloves. Her Sailor collar does have stripes, unlike the anime and manga.
