Princess Snow Kaguya was the name given by Kakeru Ozora to an alien creature determined to encase the Earth in ice. She had once tried this in the past, but was banished by a bright light that sent her far away into the galaxy. She sent her Snow Dancers to prepare the way for her, as well as a fragment of her cometary vehicle, which Kakeru found and took home, where it gradually drained his life energy.
In the anime, when all the Sailor Senshi joined their powers together, they destroyed her using Silver Crystal Power.
In the manga, Super Sailor Moon destroyed her and her comet with Rainbow Moon Heartache.
In the musicals, she appeared in Kaguya-hime no Koibito and the 30th Anniversary Musical Festival -Chronicle-, where she was played by Sayaka Okamura.
Trivia[edit]
- Princess Kaguya is a character in Japanese folklore.
- Princess Snow Kaguya and her Snow Dancers appeared in Sailor Moon: Another Story as enemies in random battles at the Dark Castle near the end of the game.
- In the original German translation of the manga, her name was given as "Suno Kaguya." This was probably due to the katakana for the "Snow" part of her name, "sunoo" (スノー), being interpreted as a proper name instead of the English word "snow."
