The Death Mannetjes were four Homunculi created by Undead Beserk (disguised as Professor Tomoe) in the first musical of the Dracul Series, Shin / Henshin - Super Senshi e no Michi - Last Dracul Jokyoku. The Mannetjes specialized in copying fighting styles and in disguise. In the show, the characters functioned as background dancers and performed many of the gag acts in the show, such as dressing up as Tuxedo Mask, Count Dracul, or the Outer Senshi.
The Death Mannetjes were considered to be failed experiments because the "hearts" used to create them were buried in various entertainment venues. A quest to seek perfection was their motivation, and because of the circumstances of their creation, they reacted negatively to the word "failure". They failed most of their mission to kidnap Chibiusa, but succeeded in stabbing Tuxedo Mask (though he was later revived by Count Dracul).
They were killed by Undead Beserk during the musical's final battle.
- Death Pa (Jun Kanzaki) wore red. His heart was buried somewhere in the second city district. He dressed up as Michiru.
- Death Pi (Seiko Takuma) wore yellow. Her heart was buried in an entertainment venue. She dressed up as Setsuna.
- Death Pu (Kashiwagi Takashi) wore green. His heart was buried in a show theater. He dressed up as Haruka.
- Death Pe (Yoshiya Yukimura) wore blue. His heart was buried in an amusement park. He dressed up as Hotaru.
Notes and References
- Most of this information was translated from the Last Dracul Dictionary, Death Mannetjes entry.
- "Mannetje" is the Dutch word for Homunculus; both terms are diminuitive for "man".
- A similar set of characters appeared as henchmen to Professor Tomoe in Sailor Moon S - Usagi Ai no Senshi e no Michi.
