The Outer Senshi join the fight as Usagi Tsukino and Mamoru Chiba fade under the influence of Queen Nehellenia's dark power.
Summary
The Sailor Senshi are trapped by the Amazoness Quartet's vines. Haruka and the others arrive on the scene, and transform into super Sailor Senshi, much to the surprise of the other girls and their enemies. Sailor Uranus uses World Shaking to release the Guardian Senshi from the vines entrapping them, and the Outer Senshi engage in a fight with the Quartet.
Back at the Tsukino residence, Chibiusa notices Usagi is getting ill, just like Mamoru. As she is setting off to get help, she and Usagi sense the presence of Sailor Saturn and the others. Chibiusa transforms into Super Sailor Chibi Moon and Usagi sends her ahead while she gets ready to leave. Once she sets off, Usagi runs into Mamoru outside. He quickly realizes her lungs are infected just like his, but she insists to join the battle and they head for the Dead Moon Circus together.
Sailor Neptune explains to the others why they came back to fight the enemy. She says that they sensed the darkness covering the planet, making it into a dead place full of nightmares.
Super Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask arrive and see the dark moon covered with blackness. Zirconia unleashes a spell that covers the prince and princess as Pegasus comes running up. The afflicted couple begin to shrink, turned into children. As Pegasus disappears with Mamoru and Usagi, the Amazoness Quartet run away, but Sailor Saturn and Sailor Chibi Moon catch up with them.
As they fight, Sailor Saturn yells at the Quartet to wake up to their true selves or die. They are being controlled by the Dead Moon, and their dreams are actually sad and not full of evil. Just as Saturn seems to be reaching them, Zirconia appears and traps the four in their Amazon Stones. Sailor Chibi Moon tries to use Moon Gorgeous Meditation, but she and Saturn are imprisioned in glass fragments by Zircon. Zirconia takes the stones and glass pieces to the large mirror she uses to communicate with her queen and pushes them through the surface.
The entrapped girls all fall near the feet of Queen Nehellenia as the woman cackles with happiness.
Trivia
- This act featured the first appearance of Super Sailor Saturn, the transformations Neptune Crystal Power, Make Up, Uranus Crystal Power, Make Up, Pluto Crystal Power, Make Up, Saturn Crystal Power, Make Up, and the attacks Silence Wall and Silence Glaive Surprise, and was the only time Submarine Mirror was used.
