Reverting an article to a previous version is sometimes necessary, for example if the page has been vandalised, or sections of text have been deleted.
How to revert
Reverting an article is a simple process. Open the 'history' tab and locate the most recent good version of the article. Select this, then open the edit tab. There will be a warning that you are editing an old version of the article. Ignore this and save the page.
It is also highly recommended that users fill out the 'edit summary' when reverting, to make it clear that a revert has taken place and also to explain their reasoning. If the revert was necessary because of vandalism, take the appropriate action as set out on the Vandalism page.
