Mamoru?[edit]

Some fans I know consider 'Senshi' to be an apt title for Mamoru because he has a Sailor Crystal but isn't a Sailor Senshi what with having that Y Chromosome. What do you guys think??--Sakky 18:44, 14 October 2006 (MST)

Well, could he be considered as a Senshi's male equivalent? --210 19:03, 14 October 2006 (MST)
Personally, I consider him a Senshi but not a Sailor Senshi. But there isn't an official term for it that I recall. Kerochan no Miko 19:48, 14 October 2006 (MST)
Oh, of course he's a senshi (he has a sword afterall). By "Senshi" I meant the "Sailor Senshi". It's just a short form. --210 20:50, 14 October 2006 (MST)

Another Wiki Bug[edit]

If the "nowiki" tags aren't added around the apostrophe (sp?), funny things will happen. 210 00:28, 9 September 2006 (MST)

What funny things? I haven't noticed anything... Kerochan no Miko 06:51, 9 September 2006 (MST)
Have look at the edit history of this page. There seems to be some odd conflict caused by multiple sets of apostrophes. dooky 08:20, 9 September 2006 (MST)
I did look at it, that's why I said I haven't noticed anything, because I haven't. What exactly are the "funny things" I'm supposed to be seeing? Kerochan no Miko 10:17, 9 September 2006 (MST)
Ah, now I see it - I didn't look recently enough. I saw three ' in a row, which turned things bold - that doesn't seem like a bug to me. And honestly, I don't see why "Sailor Moon" needs to be in italics there anyway. Kerochan no Miko 10:19, 9 September 2006 (MST)
It's a bug in the sense that the Wiki S/W engineers should have catered for such situation but they didn't. "Sailor Moon" needs to be in italics to distinguish between the work & the person. 210 18:55, 9 September 2006 (MST)
It's not a bug, it's wiki doing what wiki is supposed to do. I don't think programmers can be expected to cater for every single possible situation, just be aware that if you have three ' in a row it makes bold text. I don't see a problem. Kerochan no Miko 20:22, 9 September 2006 (MST)

^ I wasn't saying that I expected them to be able to produce a perfect Wiki sys! S/W bugs are normal. I'd be surprised if they really didn't exist (actually no one could prove that). Programmers' duties are supposed to cater for every single possible situation, even tho common sense says that it's practically impossible. Nonetheless, a bug is still a bug. And of course I know what triggers this bug to occur. The problem is that I've to manually add the nowiki tags, & that those who don't know about using those tags could be puzzled like ?_?. 210 21:31, 9 September 2006 (MST)

Uh, it seems fairly obvious to me that three ' in a row will make bold text. I still don't understand why it's an issue, but I guess we're just going to disagree here. Kerochan no Miko 21:40, 9 September 2006 (MST)
It's not a very big issue, of course, but it causes a bit of inconveniences (& it's not just the bold text in this case), & problems for Wiki newbies, of whom I also consider myself one. ^^; 210 21:52, 9 September 2006 (MST)
