Talk:Sailor Moon SuperS: Special
At the end of one of the specials (I think the 3rd one) an image was displayed of the senshi (excluding Saturn) that was based off of one of Naoko's drawings. Anime Manga MusicallyObsessedBoi 12:23, 29 March 2010 (MST)
- Do you have a reason to bring that up? Kerochan no Miko 12:48, 29 March 2010 (MST)
- I just thought it would be nice to add to the trivia section since there aren't very many images like that! MusicallyObsessedBoi 18:21, 29 March 2010 (MST)
- If you think something should be added to a trivia section, why don't you just add it? It's kind of the point of a wiki. (Though this one should go on the article about the special in question, not this article.) Kerochan no Miko 22:13, 29 March 2010 (MST)
- Just making sure it is worthy of being added! MusicallyObsessedBoi 12:04, 31 March 2010 (MST)

To remove confusion when it comes to formatting the name of the special on the wiki, I propose that this article be moved to Sailor Moon SuperS: Special, using the title of the English release. That way if we call it "Sailor Moon SuperS: Special" it should be italicized, as it's a title, but if we call it "the Sailor Moon SuperS special" it's not italicized, because we're just referring to the special (in the same way we treat the movies). - I went ahead and moved this and the other pages you have proposed moves for so that you have as little extra work as possible. With this special, I wasn't entirely sure if its italicized title should have a "the" placed in front of it while I was fixing the links, but considering that you removed the "The" in the very first sentence of this article on December 29, I thought that if a link to this article appears as the actual title of the special instead of referring to it as "the SuperS special" without the colon and with lowercase "special," it should not have a "the"...? What are your thoughts on how we should handle that in the future? PrinceEarth (talk) 04:48, 7 January 2025 (EST)
- As I said in the comment when I proposed the move, if referring to it by title as "Sailor Moon SuperS: Special" then it needs to be italicized, but if it's "the SuperS special" then it doesn't. Just like the movies. Kerochan no Miko (talk) 06:10, 7 January 2025 (EST)
- I was talking about whether or not to put "the" in front of the title, not about italicization. PrinceEarth (talk) 06:13, 7 January 2025 (EST)
- Again, it's the same situation as the movies. I don't understand how there is a difference here, so perhaps I'm not seeing what you're asking. Kerochan no Miko (talk) 06:19, 7 January 2025 (EST)
- For the movies, it's a non-issue in my opinion because they already have a "the" included in their title, so it's obvious that we shouldn't say "in the Sailor Moon R: The Movie". But for the SuperS special, I just wasn't sure if it should be "in Sailor Moon SuperS: Special" (which, to me, sounds a little weird) or "in the Sailor Moon SuperS: Special"; it would be more obvious whether or not there should be a "the" if the special was called "Sailor Moon SuperS: The Special". PrinceEarth (talk) 06:36, 7 January 2025 (EST)
- We should never have "the" in front of the proper title of the special. It's either "the SuperS special" (or something like that) or Sailor Moon SuperS: Special. Kerochan no Miko (talk) 06:43, 7 January 2025 (EST)
- Okay, that's what I wanted to know, thanks. PrinceEarth (talk) 06:44, 7 January 2025 (EST)
