This often leads to dissatisfaction of fans (and probably creators of the works) regarding creative independence.

Can't provide any ATM (especially that of the creators, unless you know them personally, since it's seldom publicly known). It comes fr my knowledge about the industry. I'd rather rewrite it than tracing back the yrs fr my blurred memory to dig out the exact sources. --210 22:01, 14 January 2007 (MST)
And since we're trying to keep personal opinion out of this, I rewrote it a little more to make it neutral. Kerochan no Miko 22:29, 14 January 2007 (MST)
Thx! --210 22:55, 14 January 2007 (MST)
At the time when the live-action was aired, most, if not all, of the series tie-in toys were made in China in order to cut production costs

Relevancy? Kerochan no Miko 22:09, 15 January 2007 (MST)

It's an info about the PGSM toys. --210 22:18, 15 January 2007 (MST)
And again, how is it relevant that Bandai made the toys in China? Kerochan no Miko 22:34, 15 January 2007 (MST)
It reflects another major strategic twist in the company's development/history. And regarding Sailor Moon, (virtually) all PGSM toys were made in China, as compared w/ the anime ones, many of which were still made in Japan. --210 22:46, 15 January 2007 (MST)
Don't tell me, put it in the article. I dislike having random facts sitting out in the middle of an article with no ties to the rest of the information, which is why I called attention to that one. Kerochan no Miko 22:48, 15 January 2007 (MST)
I understand, & I'm gonna do it, but I'm VERY hungry ATM, ^^; so pls wait (I might do it tonite, since I've got some biz after lunch). --210 22:57, 15 January 2007 (MST)

^ Done. --210 06:45, 16 January 2007 (MST)

Can we put in a list of toy releases that Bandai did for Sailor Moon? --Diagnosed 22:16, 13 February 2008 (MST)

That would be an extremely long list, considering that the toys number in the hundreds. Kerochan no Miko 23:15, 13 February 2008 (MST)
Maybe an external link to a page containing such info, if any? --210 06:23, 14 February 2008 (MST)
I believe there was already discussion of making an article devoted just to toys, once upon a time... Kerochan no Miko 08:05, 14 February 2008 (MST)
Now that you've mentioned it, I seem to have some memory of that, but I can't recall where the discussion is ATM. --210 08:32, 14 February 2008 (MST)
I don't believe there are any sites that have a fully comprehensive listing. Sailormoontoys.com has a pretty good handle on most but I've seen others that she doesn't have in her collection on eBay. (Not to mention her layout could be a little cleaner.) --Diagnosed 21:37, 24 February 2008 (MST)
Then, as per what Kerochan mentioned above, maybe we could create a dedicated article for toys? --210 02:22, 25 February 2008 (MST)
Well, to be honest I don't think there's a better page to put descriptions of the toys released. I started one for this company, and I'll continue it over the next few weeks unless you'd prefer it moved/removed completely or separated into several articles. I just hope it doesn't cause you a headache ^^;;. --Diagnosed 02:35, 9 March 2008 (MST)
Then I guess the "Bandai Japan" section will be a very huge one once it's been filled up. I don't know much about the American toys, so I'm leaving it to others to edit the info 1st. --210 06:24, 9 March 2008 (MST)
As I said above, I don't think this is the right place to be listing masses of toys. If we want an article about toys, we need an article about toys, we don't need to clutter the Bandai article about it. And since we were already discussing making one of those, I don't see why you decided to just go ahead and shove stuff into this article. Also, Diagnosed, feel free to make use of the "preview" button instead of saving multiple times in a row; it's easier on me. Kerochan no Miko 09:33, 9 March 2008 (MST)
Truly sorry about the multiple saves. I'm still getting used to the editing environment. I know it's annoying cause you have to look through each one though. It shouldn't be a problem from now on. As for the actual content of the page (lol), I decided to put it here because it would be easier to break down the toys by company name instead of putting all of them into one article. However, if that reasoning doesn't suit you, how *would* you like to organize the information, or would you like to leave it out of Wikimoon completely? --Diagnosed 17:25, 9 March 2008 (MST)

^ Actually, even if you put the toys info into a separate article instead of this one, that separate article could still be linked from this one. ^^ --210 18:50, 9 March 2008 (MST)

As it is now. --210 19:11, 9 March 2008 (MST)
Looks good to me. --Diagnosed 13:59, 14 March 2008 (MST)
