Just curious - is it ever said Artemis and Luna "marry"? I find it odd to use that word for cats unless it's explicitely stated. "Breed" seems like a better term otherwise... --Elfir 22:27, 17 May 2006 (MST)

Diana, bred out of wedlock. Film at 11. Kyaa the Catlord 22:46, 17 May 2006 (MST)
Usagi tells her mother that Luna and Artemis are married in Volume 2 of the Stars Manga. Dunno if this has any bearing on anything. Dooky 04:15, 18 May 2006 (MST)

Uh, wouldn't the combination of white fur and blue eyes make Artemis possibly deaf? -- DENelson83 07:46, 1 July 2006 (MST)

It is true that cats of that colouration have a higher frequency of genetic defects, espicially deafness. But I think the weight of evidence in the series is against Artemis being deaf ^_~ Plus, in the manga Artemis is an alien, and thus probably genetically unrelated to Earth cats. Now, what about the argument from Sailor V that he's a female-to-male transsexual? :P Dooky 08:10, 1 July 2006 (MST)
Speaking of which...mayhaps in addition to "intelligent domestic cat" under species, "Mauian" should be listed...?Sailor Titan 17 April 2009
Well he has a daughter... but then may the Mauian's have more advanced technology that we do, allowing for that ;) Personally I put this down to Minako's personality more than anything else. A personal joke of mine is that Minako has a thing for TG, she does turn herself into a guy in the manga on a few occasions after all :P Joking aside, doesn't Artemis have green eyes in the manga? GracieLizzie 08:33, 1 July 2006 (MST)
IIRC, sometimes he had green eyes and sometimes blue. Kind of like how Luna's eyes are sometimes red and sometimes blue. Kerochan no Miko 13:07, 1 July 2006 (MST)
TG? Tough guys? -- DENelson83 23:44, 1 July 2006 (MST)
Transgender. And I think it's really Naoko who has the fixation with it, since she delights in dressing her female characters in guys' clothes ^_^ Dooky 00:17, 2 July 2006 (MST)

Removed the part about the "transexual cat" in quotes because Minako didn't call him that - a scanlator says that she said that, but that's not the original dialogue and therefore it shouldn't be quoted. Kerochan no Miko 14:54, 14 August 2010 (MST)

In the second chapter of Codenamemakoto Sailor V? I remember her calling him that. What was it originally? (This unsigned comment was left by Crescent Beam, August 13, 2010)
That's a good question, Sailor Star Lover's sockpuppet account. Look up the original Japanese version and find out. --Kerochan no Miko 15:39, 14 August 2010 (MST)

"Also during the Dream arc, when Artemis peeked at Minako in the shower and noted that she was beginning to resemble Aphrodite, he became flustered, possibly due to a crush on Minako. Artemis was also instrumental in the awakening of Super Sailor Venus; he blamed himself for not having enough power and holding her back, but gave her the Venus Crystal. It was not revealed where he got it from, but it was strongly hinted that it was created out of the bond the two shared."

When did that happen? I searched for that part in the manga, but I can't find it. -.- Mariena 00:32, 19 October 2011 (UTC+2)

Which part? When Artemis peeked at Minako or when he gave her the Venus Crystal? Kerochan no Miko 02:15, 19 October 2011 (MST)
When he gave her the Venus Crystal. Because in the versions I've seen chapter 38 endet with the rock falling down on Artemis, and the next chapter is about the Outers. Sorry for not making clear what I meant. :) Mariena 13:29, 19 October 2011 (UTC+2)
Uh.. Nevermind. ^-^ I found it. Mariena 18:00, 19 October 2011 (UTC+2)
