What kind of episode template should be used for this one, if any? Elanorea 09:26, 29 July 2006 (MST)

Didn't it air in Cinemas? Which means it is a theatrical short, so perhaps the Movie one would be a good idea, then again it isn't a movie... perhaps the Stars one would be good as it doesn't have any dub data requirements and this episode was never dubbed either. Hmmm, perhaps we aught to have new templates for the specials and manga sidestories? What does everyone else think? --GracieLizzie 14:43, 3 October 2006 (MST)

Move Proposal[edit]

Hmm. Since the title is the same as the manga, I propose moving this to "Ami-chan's First Love (anime)", for accuracy/consistency purposes. Any real objections?--Sailor Biccy 21:16, 19 December 2007 (MST)

I don't see a need for the (anime) part - just call it "Ami-chan's First Love" and we'll be fine. Kerochan no Miko 21:45, 19 December 2007 (MST)

Formatting[edit]

I've seen the title of this special being formatted in different ways in this wiki (italics, no italics with/without quotation marks, etc), and I wanted to ask what the correct one would be, so I can go through the pages linking to this one and make the formatting consistent. Since the article uses the movie template and movies are italicized here, I simply ran with italics when I edited Luna Saw it! The True Idol Yaten the other day, but if it isn't the correct way to write it, I can go back and fix it when dealing with all the articles linking to the special. I think people aren't clear on whether it counts as a movie or an episode and therefore whether it's italicized or not - you're right, though, it does use the movie template and was shown in theaters, so I think we should go with the "movie" category and thus italicize the title. Okay then, thanks for answering! I hope I caught everything. PrinceEarth (talk) 14:43, 1 June 2024 (EDT)
In case anyone sees this discussion in the future and wonders why AFL is in quotation marks despite what we had decided here, please see the broader discussion about the formatting of anime specials here. PrinceEarth (talk) 14:16, 29 December 2024 (EST)
