Silence Glaive Surprise was an attack used by Sailor Saturn using the Silence Glaive.

In the anime, this power was used only once against Queen Nehellenia. Its possible outcome was never seen, as Sailor Chibi Moon stopped Sailor Saturn from completing the attack.

In the manga, Silence Glaive Surprise produced a thick fog, similar to Sabão Spray, and was used once to disorient the Amazoness Quartet.

Silence Glaive Surprise in Crystal

In Sailor Moon Crystal, Sailor Saturn first used the attack in the second part of Sailor Moon Eternal to create a wide wave of energy that swept from the blade of the Silence Glaive toward the Amazoness Quartet. However, it would not receive a fully animated attack sequence until Sailor Moon Cosmos, when Sailor Saturn used it to attack Sailor Galaxia in Charon Castle. In that sequence, the Saturn symbol first spun horizontally several times and moved towards Sailor Saturn's forehead, who appeared behind it, crossing her arms and holding the Silence Glaive in her right hand, then the symbol disappeared. As wind rushed up, she spun around the Glaive before holding it up straight, a ball of purple energy crackling around its top. As she did that, she was surrounded by columns of crackling black energy. She then moved the Glaive down to point it at her target, and as the ball of purple energy turned white, she turned and swept the Glaive around, then flung the ball towards her target before it turned into a ring and struck them.
