Puko was a Lemures used by Tiger's Eye to distract Super Sailor Moon and Super Sailor Chibi Moon while he attacked Saori. She, like Gum Mario and Elephanko, had a ball-like form. When she first appeared she looked like a large balloon with a face, hands, and feet.
When Tiger's Eye found out that Saori did not have Pegasus in her Dream Mirror, he summoned Puko and instructed the Lemures to kill her. Puko instead decided to attack Mamoru, who had been with Saori when Tiger's Eye attacked. Super Sailor Moon jumped in the way of this attack in order to save Mamoru's life, and was almost suffocated as the Lemures pressed against her balloon-like body against the Sailor Senshi's face. Sailor Moon's selfless action managed to move Puko to tears, but that did not stop her attack.
When it became apparent that Sailor Moon was near death, Mamoru ripped himself free of the throwing knives with which Tiger's Eye had pinned him down and used one of them to stab Puko. Puko burst and went flying off as she deflated, assuming a more humanoid form. She patched the hole and tried to reinflate herself, but before she could finish Sailor Moon destroyed her with Moon Gorgeous Meditation.
