Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Crystal (美少女戦士セーラームーン クリスタル) was the title of the new Sailor Moon anime series which was released between July 5, 2014 and June 30, 2023.

The production of a new animated series was announced during the 20th anniversary celebration of Sailor Moon in July 2012, but due to unexplained delays it did not air for another two years. This anime series was more faithful to the original manga than the original, with episodes matching one-to-one with acts of the manga during the first three seasons, before the remaining two arcs of the manga were each covered by a two-part movie.

The series is available worldwide on NicoNico, with subtitled presentations in thirteen languages (Japanese, Traditional and Simplified Chinese, English, French, Korean, German, Italian, Spanish, Turkish, Portuguese, Indonesian, and Malay). In the North American, European, and Latin American markets, it is streamed with English, Latin American Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese subtitles on Crunchyroll. In the United States, Viz Media's Hulu channel, Neon Alley, is streaming it both subtitled and dubbed, and in Canada, Tubi TV is streaming it subtitled only. In 2021, Netflix began streaming the series in the U.S. and Canada both subtitled and dubbed. In late 2015, Neon Alley uploaded the first episodes of the English dub of Crystal, which was produced at Studiopolis.

The series aired on six regional television stations in Japan, including Tokyo MX.
