Otaku Wars!
The Otaku Wars! was a long-running group fanfic on the newsgroup alt.fan.sailor-moon in which various authors battled to determine who was the best Sailor Senshi.
It began with a post made by Jet Wolf on January 26, 1997 [1] in which she declared that she was "secretly plotting to topple the Empire of Ami Fans." Other posters joined in the "who is the best Senshi" argument, until a "Minakochanian warship" appeared and fired a videotape into the ground between Jet Wolf and Belial. That opening shot spawned a massive group story that continued until peace was "officially" declared in August of 2003.
