Kinmoku Star Power, Make Up was the transformation phrase used by Princess Kakyuu in the manga and Sailor Moon Crystal to transform into Sailor Kakyuu.
In the animated version of this transformation, Princess Kakyuu held up her hand as a stream of pink and orange stars swirled around it, alighting on her fingernails and turning them red. The symbol on Kakyuu's forehead that was shaped like an Osmanthus fragrans blossom turned into the golden star piece of her tiara, then the rest of it appeared, as Kakyuu crossed her arms before her, then extended them to release a flurry of osmanthus blossoms as well as another flower's pink petals from her chest. Sailor Kakyuu now appeared in full sailor fuku, and in a flash of light, her shoes were added with a flurry of osmanthus blossoms flying off. A spinning peony appeared, then it was torn apart into pieces that flew away, revealing Kakyuu's skirt. An osmanthus twig materialized from light and Kakyuu took hold of it, as she started giving her introductory speech. She turned around and assumed her final pose finishing her introduction, as red light flashed at her feet.
Trivia[edit]
- Princess Kakyuu/Sailor Kakyuu and her planet Kinmoku were based on the Osmanthus fragrans tree, but peonies and Japanese camellias also appeared throughout the animated version of this transformation.
- At the beginning of the animated version of this transformation, Kakyuu's fingernails turned red, but her fingernails were their normal color for the remainder of the transformation as well as all subsequent scenes in which she appeared.
