Junichi Satou
Junichi Satou (佐藤順一), nicknamed "Satojun" (サトジュン), was the series director for the first two seasons of the Sailor Moon anime, as well as an episode director for the first season and the last three seasons of the anime. Notable episodes directed by him include the very first episode of the anime, the episode where Sailor Mercury first appeared, the last episode of the Queen Nehellenia arc of Sailor Moon Sailor Stars, and the death of Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune.
