Himeko Nayotake was an astronaut who was in love with Kakeru Ozora, but was frustrated at his insistence on believing in what she thought were silly fairy tales. She had the opportunity to go into space with an expedition from the United States, and while out there saw Kakeru on his trip with Luna, which made her wonder if his stories might be true after all.
She appeared in the musical Kaguya-hime no Koibito, where she was played by Nanami Tamai.
Trivia[edit]
- The "take" (meaning "bamboo") and "Hime" (meaning "princess") parts of her name are a reference to the Tale of the Bamboo Cutter, from which the Kaguya-hime no Koibito manga and the Sailor Moon S movie drew inspiration.
